Duties Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum plans tailored to toddler development stages, incorporating literacy education, physical activity, and creative exploration Lead daily classroom activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, and cognitive growth in toddlers Manage classroom behavior with positive behavior management strategies to create a safe and respectful learning environment Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, milestones, and any concerns to foster strong home-school connections Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality childcare and educational standards are maintained Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare regulations at all times Maintain detailed documentation of children's developmental progress, assessments, and individualized plans when necessary Qualifications Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, especially with toddlers or preschoolers Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques Experience with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and behavior management is highly desirable Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in child welfare practices is preferred Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners Demonstrated ability to plan lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and creative arts Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and standards for childcare providers Prior classroom experience in daycare or preschool environments; private school experience is a plus Join us as a Lead Toddler Teacher to shape the foundational years of young children's lives.
