Job Description

About us Spokane Child Development Center, LLC is a Washington State licensed childcare center open to the public. It is our mission to provide an environment geared to nurture and develop the growth and learning initiated in the family experience. We have an ECEAP Assistant position available. Requirements for this position includes Portable Background Check, Negative TB test, CPR/First Aid certification, Food Handler's card, and a background and education in Early Childhood Education. Spokane Child Development Center serves children between the ages of 1 year through 6 years old.
We have many classrooms including:
two toddler rooms and three preschool rooms- including an ECEAP program. We are open from 7:00am until 5:30pm Monday through Friday. Our program was rated as a level five by Washington Early Achievers- a rare distinction. We are looking for someone to be a part of our team and help influence and shape children's lives.
Requirements:
PDTR-6 Assistant Teacher Role (1) An assistant teacher must be present during all ECEAP class hours, whenever there are more than 10 children present or when needed to ensure a safe learning environment. (2) An assistant teacher demonstrates competency to implement program activities under the direction of a lead teacher. PDTR-7 Assistant Teacher Qualifications (1) All persons serving in the role of ECEAP assistant teacher must meet one of the following qualifications: (a) Washington State Early Childhood Education (ECE) Initial Certificate or higher or; (b) DCYF approved equivalent
