Summary:
Looking for team member responsible for providing support throughout the daycare center as needed. This role includes covering teacher breaks, filling in for staff absences, assisting with classroom activities, cooking, cleaning, and other tasks to maintain a safe and engaging environment for children. Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing needs are essential in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in classrooms by supervising children and supporting daily activities. Cover staff breaks and absences as needed. Perform cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment. Support teachers and staff with miscellaneous tasks as required. Follow all daycare policies and procedures to ensure safety and compliance.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in childcare or related field is a plus. Ability to work flexibly and adapt to varying needs. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Special consideration given to those who already have a Merit Account/Childcare Basics/portable background check We also require (and help you to obtain): First Aid Certification Infant/Child and Adult CPR Training Blood Borne Pathogens/HIV Training Food and Beverage Handlers Permit A negative Tuberculosis skin test Washington State Criminal Background Clearance Proof of MMR Vaccination or Immunity Childcare Basics Course.
