Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, focusing on their physical, emotional, and educational development. This role involves working with children of various ages, including toddlers, and may include supporting children with disabilities. The Provider will engage in activities that promote childhood development while ensuring the well-being of each child in their care. Duties Provide attentive and responsive care to children in a preschool setting. Create and Implement age-appropriate educational activities that foster learning and development. Monitor children's safety and well-being at all times, maintaining a clean and organized environment. Support children's social skills through play and group activities Administer first aid when necessary and ensure that all health guidelines are followed. Be part of a team that creates a fun, safe and supportive environment for all. Qualifications Previous experience in childcare or related fields is preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development. Willing to meet all state licensing requirements including passing a background check, first aid/CPR training and minimum educational requirements. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, co-workers and parents. Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children are crucial for success in this role. A background in early childhood education or related training is beneficial but not required. Pay:
$17.50 - $17.75 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 per week
