At Children's Life we value the healthy development of young minds and believe in providing a safe and fair learning environment for all children. We currently provide care to ages 4 weeks to 12 years old. We are Level 3 Early Achievers, and use Teaching Strategies Gold to support curriculum. Children's Life is looking for someone patient and attentive who is seeking to help educate and support the growth of developing minds and who is prepared to meet the physical demands of a job working with young children. Someone who understands how different each child can be and how the child's circumstances and experiences mold and affect how they interact with people and things.

Responsibilities:

Providing care for children, such as setting schedules and routines, feeding, changing diapers, and cleaning rooms and toys. Keeping records on individual children, including daily observations, meals served, injury reports, and medication administered. Organize age appropriate activities and implement lesson plans that stimulate children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social growth, and promote learning and socialization. Maintaining a safe workplace by monitoring children for health, behavioral, and emotional issues. Ensuring children are learning positive behaviors and providing guidance as needed.

Requirements:

Highschool diploma or equivalent Associate in ECE, Child Development Certificate, OR pursuing or willingness to pursue

Childcare:

1 year 30 Basic Stars hours and Merit number Basic first aid/CPR, BBP/HIV, Food handlers OR willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire Ability to lift up to 40lbs, squat, kneel, sit on floor, and stand for extended periods of time We are an inclusive center that employs and provide care for all people, we hope you apply!
