Job Description

Job Summary MomCo is a non-profit organization that encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus and in partnership with the local church. Childcare workers are responsible for creating a safe and nurturing space for children. Mom's meet every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from September to May. Hours are 8:30-11am. The role requires a background check, compassion, dependability, and a commitment to serving others in a Christian community setting. •Ages 16 and older is minimum wage •Ages 14 &15 and 85% Minimum wage Duties Responsibilities include supervising children, implementing age-appropriate activities and Bible-based lessons, assisting with daily routines like snacks and hygiene, and maintaining a clean and stimulating play area. Supervise and ensure the safety of children in care at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development centered around God. Provide nurturing care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diaper changes, and comfort. Foster positive relationships with children through play, teaching, and guidance. Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play. Manage behavior using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage good habits.
