Monday-Friday, 8:00 or 9:00 am•5:30 PM time

$17.13 per hour•$23.00 About the
Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and patient Preschool Teacher who has a genuine passion for working with children ages 3-5. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, engaging environment that supports children's social, emotional, and early academic development.
Key Responsibilities:
Care for a classroom of up to 10 preschool-aged children Introduce foundational learning concepts such as counting, ABCs, colors, shapes, and tracing Support social-emotional development through positive interaction and guidance Foster a safe, welcoming, and growth-oriented classroom environment Assist with diaper changes and potty training Maintain classroom cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing toys and surfaces Perform daily closing duties
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (preferred) At least 1 year of experience working with children TB test and background check (required) Short-Term Certificates (Entry Level) Initial ECE/STARS-aligned courses Focus on basics like child development, health & safety, and classroom interaction Meets many Washington State childcare licensing requirements Certifications First Aid/CPR certification Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) training Food Handler's Card 30-hour STARS training
