Job Description

We are in need of a full-time 3K Teacher in Ashland, WI, US to help create an environment conducive for learning and growth in three-year-old children. This position offers a host of amazing advantages such as

Responsibilities:
Actively supervises all children ensuring all are within sight and sound of the employee and complies with all active supervision strategies. Facilitates classroom team meetings at least one time per week for a minimum of 30 minutes; This is to include the communication of events within the classroom along with strategies on emotional support, instructional support, and classroom organization. Plans, prepares and implements activities, lessons, and projects that support the curriculum of Family Forum, Inc. and addresses the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework. Conducts 4 parent conferences per school year, 2 of which must be in the home, obtaining family input on each child's development and behavior, planning together, and providing opportunities for ongoing observations of their child. Supports and implements all agency policies and procedures as well as all standard operating procedures as required. Assists families with accessing resources within their community through our referral process and follow-up with families on the outcome of the referral. Participates in training, staff meetings, conferences, and similar activities that promote the development of the program. And other duties as assigned in the full job description.
Qualifications:
Required:
An associate degree in Early Childhood Education (starting wage at $18.55/hr)
Preferred:
A bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (starting wage at $20.60/hr) We are also looking for someone with these great skills: Effective communication Problem-solving Compassionate listening Team-oriented thinking
