About This Role We are looking for a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Lead Teacher in our after-school and summer program at Bangor Elementary School working with 4-10-year-olds!
Start Date:
08-31-2026 or ASAP Position Overview I am looking for a qualified early childhood educator to work in my after-school program at Bangor Elementary School 701 14th Ave S, Bangor, WI 54614 (not affiliated with Bangor School District.)
School-Year Schedule Monday-Thursday:
2:45 PM-6:00 PM (end time may vary based on ratios) No-school/surround-care days: 7:00 AM-5:30
PM Fridays:
7:45-10:00 AM and then 2:45 PM-6:00 PM No weekends or holidays! At the end of March/beginning April will need full-time worker at home daycare in Rockland from 8am to 4pm.
Summer Schedule Monday-Friday:
7:00 AM-5:30 PM Additional Opportunity Beginning in late March/early April, there will also be an opportunity for full-time hours at an in-home daycare in Rockland, working with children from infants through 4 years old, approximately 8:00 AM-4:00 PM. What You'll Do What You'll Do As the Lead Teacher, you will: Build positive relationships with children Plan and lead fun, engaging activities and crafts Serve snacks and support daily routines Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment Lead the classroom and support children's social-emotional development Requirements High school diploma or GED or HSED and at least 18 years of age CPR/AED and First AID Child abuse and neglect reporting (mandated reporter) Fingerprint and Background check approval before starting 2 credits in early childhood education Or Complete the non-credit department-approved courses in early childhood education (I will offer free training with a signed contract to stay for a school year) Resume and References WI Registry Certificate (qualified for "School Age Program Lead")
