Job Description

Rhymes-N-Rainbows is seeking a Lead Teacher who is interested in working with 6week olds
  • 18 month olds.
We are looking for fun, energetic, reliable individuals to join our team! We are a group childcare center that is licensed for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Staff typically work four, 10 hour days, and the center is closed weekends and major holidays. The starting wage is based on current experience and education. This rate can increase as more continuing education classes are taken. Childcare is also provided for staff at a reduced rate. Rhymes-N-Rainbows is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for young children
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
  • Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in children
  • Communicate effectively with parents and provide regular updates on their child's progress
  • Use various teaching methods to engage students in learning, including hands-on activities, group projects, and individualized instruction
  • Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure the overall success of the program
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and administrators
Qualifications:
  • Infant/Child CPR training is required
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
