Job Description

The Assistant Teacher is responsible for assisting the Lead Teacher in creating and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, providing a safe and nurturing environment, and ensuring the well-being and developmental progress of each child.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Lead Teacher in developing and implementing daily lesson plans, activities, and curriculum that meet the individual needs of each child in the classroom.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all children and families.
  • Support the Lead Teacher in observing and assessing children's developmental skills and progress in accordance with center policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to communicate with families about children's progress, activities, and behavior.
  • Assist with ensuring compliance with all licensing regulations and standards, including health and safety guidelines, and documentation.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; current or past enrollment in a college-level Early Childhood Education program is preferred.
  • Prior experience working with young children in a child care setting is preferred.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain certification in First Aid, CPR, and other relevant certifications as required by state licensing regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to maintain a positive and supportive attitude towards children, families, and coworkers.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and engage in physical play with children.
  • Ability to follow directions, work collaboratively, and use problem-solving skills.
Work Remotely No Pay:
From $15.00 per hour
