Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. As a Lead Infant Teacher, you will serve as a role model for fellow staff, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every infant feels valued and supported. Your expertise in child development instruction, classroom management, and parent communication will be essential in creating a positive foundation for our youngest learners. Duties Design and execute developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to infants' needs, promoting physical, emotional, and cognitive growth. Supervise and care for infants, ensuring their safety through vigilant child supervision and adherence to safety protocols such as pediatric first aid and CPR. Foster strong relationships with families through regular communication about their child's progress, milestones, and daily activities. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration while complying with health and safety standards. Lead classroom management efforts by implementing behavior management strategies that support positive social interactions among infants. Collaborate with team members to plan activities that support early childhood education principles and developmental milestones. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and all licensing requirements related to childcare and daycare center operations. Qualifications Proven experience working with infants in a daycare or childcare setting, including classroom experience in early childhood education. Knowledge of childhood development stages, infant care practices, and behavior management techniques. Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and child safety procedures is required. Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork. Ability to manage a classroom effectively while demonstrating patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm for working with young children. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and early childhood education standards is essential.
