This position must be available to work as early as 7AM or as late as 5PM Monday Through Friday. The daycare teacher must supervise and ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children at Little Saints Daycare. Enrich Little Saint's children throughout the day through activities, meal/snack times, teaching, and working with parents. Core Responsibilities Supervise and monitor the safety of children Prepare and organize snack/mealtimes for children Change diapers of infants and toddlers Organize activities and develop curriculum to expand children's knowledge and help prepare them for the next level of education Keep records relating to the child's day Provide guidance or appropriate discipline to children Monitor children for health, behavioral, and emotional issues and reporting these issues to the proper staff or parent Aide children in keeping a daily routine Develop and encourage age-appropriate learning activities Work with parents to help children reach educational and behavioral goals Qualifications and Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent CPR Certified Practicing Catholic who is actively involved in the Catholic community is preferred Core Competencies Patience Excellent communication Strong understanding of child development stages Attentive to the needs and safety of children Highly organized and detail-oriented Strong moral values and mission-driven work ethic Outgoing, creative, and enthusiastic personality Demonstrate accountability for job performance Regular, punctual and reliable attendance is an essential function of this role.

Physical Demands:
