Early Childhood Education Full Job Description About Our Center:

Here We Grow Academy is a licensed, group child care center caring for children 2 weeks - 11 years of age. We are open 6:00am - 6:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Available Position:

We are seeking a Child Care Teacher to work in our preschool classroom. This individual will be in charge of planning classroom curriculums, managing child portfolios, and presenting age-appropriate activities for children in all areas of development. Scheduled work hours are approximately 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities:

Instruct children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth Create a fun and safe learning environment Maintain schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications:

Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields (required) Completion of a Child Development Course or its equivalent Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education (or level 7 or higher on The Registry - equivalent to 6 ECE credits through a college/university) Passionate about working with children Ability to build rapport with children Positive and patient demeanor Excellent written and verbal communication skills
