Job Description
Join Our Growing Team at St. Paul's Child Care Center! Do you have a passion for working with young children and making a meaningful difference in their lives? St. Paul's Child Care Center is growing, and we're looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable Full-Time Teacher's Aide / Co-Teacher to join our 21-30 month classroom . This position works alongside the classroom's Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, engaging, and Christ-centered environment where our toddlers can learn, play, explore, and grow. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children, takes initiative, works well as part of a team, and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed. The right person will be patient, dependable, positive, and excited to build meaningful relationships with the children, families, and coworkers they see each day. What You'll Do Work alongside the Lead Teacher to provide consistent, high-quality care for children ages 21-30 months. Help create a warm, safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. Assist with daily classroom routines, including meals and snacks, diapering/toileting, nap time, transitions, and classroom clean-up. Participate in age-appropriate learning activities, art projects, sensory experiences, Bible lessons, music, stories, and play. Encourage children's growing independence, communication, social-emotional skills, and development. Supervise children closely and help maintain a safe classroom environment. Build positive, professional relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members. Work collaboratively with the Lead Teacher and the rest of our Child Care Center team. Help maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming classroom. Step in, take initiative, and help wherever needed throughout the day. Previous child care or early childhood experience is preferred. Early childhood education coursework or credentials are a plus but not required.
