Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Director for our child care program. This position will oversee our educational programs and ensure a nurturing environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early education, administration and experience working with students and families. This role requires excellent leadership skills and a commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere. Our mission and philosophy is based on Christian values. Duties Manage day to day operations of the child care program. Supervise and support teaching staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards. Collaborate with parents and guardians to promote children's development and address any concerns. Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments and feedback from staff, parents, and students. Foster a positive community environment that encourages family involvement in the educational process. Reflect values that align with our Christian program philosophy. Support families in parenting and accessing community resources. Support coordination of community resource center events and activities. Requirements Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred. Alignment with program mission statement and values. Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
