This is a great opportunity for an experienced early childhood professional who is ready to take the next step in their career and help lead a high-quality child care center. What You'll Do As a member of our leadership team, you'll play an important role in creating an exceptional experience for our children, families, and teachers.
Responsibilities include:
Help create and maintain a positive, supportive, and fun culture for teachers and children Assist with the day-to-day operations of the center and help ensure everything runs smoothly Support teachers and classrooms throughout the day as needed Maintain high standards related to licensing, curriculum, accreditation, safety, and quality Help ensure the center remains clean, organized, welcoming, and ready for families each day Build strong relationships with teachers, children, and families Communicate professionally and effectively with parents and staff through email, phone, and in-person conversations Assist in solving day-to-day challenges and supporting the needs of the center Ensure the safety, well-being, and supervision of children and staff at all times Be a positive, dependable leader who helps set the tone for the center What We're Looking For Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field Previous experience working in a child care or early childhood education setting Previous management experience is not required — we are willing to develop the right person into a strong leader Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices Ability and willingness to step into classrooms and support teachers when needed Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to stay calm, positive, and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment Patience, compassion, dependability, and a genuine passion for working with children and families First Aid and CPR certification will be required This position may require occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds as well as standing, walking, bending, and moving throughout the center for extended periods.
