Job Summary Are you a motivated individual that has smiles to share? Do you enjoy being around children and seeing their faces light up as you explore new things together? If so, we would love to meet you! Grandma's Arms Early Learning Center is growing and looking to add another teacher to our team. We are excepting applicants that are lead qualified. Positions are Monday - Friday, somewhere between the hours of 7:30am-5:15pm. Enjoy nights, weekends, and all major holidays off. Pay is based on experience, qualifications and Registry level availability ($15-$20). Responsibilities Provide attentive and nurturing care to children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. Implement lesson plans that engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development using their 5 senses. Implement behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior and social skills. Assist with daily routines including feeding, diapering, and nap times, picking up toys, cleaning and sanitizing, and keeping up with children's hygiene and cleanliness throughout the day. Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn. Communicate effectively with parents both in person and via Brightwheel app to share photos and information on meals, diapers, naps, and exciting moments. Ensure all center policies and state regulations are being met. Maintain accurate forms and records. Collaborate with other caregivers to ensure consistent care practices. Requirements 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED. Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or as a nanny. Skills in infant, toddler, or preschool aged care, along with basic knowledge on behavior management techniques. First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification is required. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members. A genuine love for working with children and the ability to create a positive learning atmosphere. Previous classroom experience or caregiving experience is highly valued.
