Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Provide attentive toddler care and preschool instruction, ensuring safety and well-being at all times. Manage classroom activities effectively through strong classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to foster a transparent partnership. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting incidents or concerns related to child welfare. Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse needs. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning while adhering to health and safety standards such as first aid and CPR certification. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings. Knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management best practices. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Experience teaching physical education, literacy education, or math to young learners is preferred. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or early intervention are a plus. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies. Demonstrated ability to plan lessons that support holistic child development while fostering a safe and inclusive environment.
