Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in 4K and 5K classrooms. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help children develop foundational skills through innovative lesson planning, classroom management, and meaningful interactions. Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and respect among children. Manage daily classroom activities with effective behavior management strategies to promote positive conduct and engagement. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, milestones, and any concerns through meetings or written updates. Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of student development and attendance. Lead activities that foster childhood development in areas such as motor skills, cognitive growth, language acquisition, and social skills. Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons that integrate play-based learning and developmental milestones. Maintain current certifications in first aid and CPR to ensure a safe classroom environment at all times. Qualifications Proven experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings; classroom experience preferred. Strong knowledge of child development principles, early childhood education practices, and classroom management techniques. Experience developing curriculum plans that include literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention programs, and childhood welfare practices. Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration. Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and maintain confidentiality of student information. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in childhood development or preschool teaching are advantageous.
