AFTERNOON PRESCHOOL LEAD OR ASSISTANT TEACHER
- Part Time! Afternoon Shift! NO Weekends! 1pm
- 5:45pm Monday
- Friday The Sun Prairie YMCA is looking for a professional, detailed oriented Early Childhood Assistant or Lead Teacher that is responsible for the daily operation of a designated licensed preschool child care program.

Create fun and interactive learning experiences while serving as mentors to fellow teachers. Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and company standards. Communicate directly with parents and prospective parents to achieve success for the child. Create a supportive and uplifting work environment. Facilitate socialization, participation and interaction of children through active involvement in safe, fun and developmentally appropriate activities Provide adaptations based on individual needs and utilizes positive behavior guidance techniques Lead or assist with developmentally appropriate program curriculum and coordinates suppliesJob Qualifications:
Required- Must be at least 18 years of age Required
- High School diploma or equivalent (Associates Degree preferred) Required-Knowledge of general child growth and development, learning, and developmentally appropriate activities for children Requires ability to effectively interact with, lead, and motivate children who have a variety of abilities and needs.
