Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members
  • Assess and monitor the development of each child, identifying any areas of concern
  • Collaborate with other teachers and specialists to develop individualized education plans for children with special needs
  • Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior in the classroom
  • Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and communicate regularly with parents
  • Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials
Qualifications:
  • Entry level classes for early childhood are great, but not necessary.
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of early intervention strategies and special education practices
  • Strong behavior management skills to create a positive learning environment
  • Familiarity with daycare regulations and child welfare guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Proficiency in classroom management techniques to maintain an organized and engaging learning environment
