Job Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Floater Teacher specializing in Infant and Toddler care, working four ten-hour shifts per week. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap time, and age-appropriate activities that promote development Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and stimulating environment conducive to early learning Collaborate with lead teachers and staff to implement curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and age groups as needed to ensure seamless coverage throughout the day Follow all health and safety regulations, including mandated reporting laws, first aid procedures, and pediatric CPR protocols Skills Proven experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage children positively and redirect behaviors constructively Certification in first aid, CPR (including pediatric first aid), and knowledge of mandated reporting laws Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Excellent communication skills for parent interactions and team collaboration Ability to handle caregiving responsibilities such as diapering, feeding, and supervising active children confidently This role is ideal for passionate caregivers eager to make a meaningful impact during the earliest stages of childhood development.
