Job Description

Amplify Children's Academy is a school providing care and education for infants through school-aged children. We are committed to enhancing childhood curiosity, creativity, and character. We provide an incredible work environment with paid holidays, assistance in professional development, and full benefits. We are closed weekends and evenings, so all shifts are between the hours of 7am and 5:45pm, Monday through Friday. We are looking for an early childhood educator with experience providing care and learning opportunities for toddlers, ages 18 months to 3 years.
Duties include:
  • Implement and assist with toddler lesson plans and activities
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
  • Foster social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through play-based learning.
  • Conduct assessments to track children's progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's individual needs and development.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
  • Ensure the well-being and safety of all children in the classroom.
  • Follow all licensing regulations and maintain necessary documentation.
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of child development theories and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, compassion, and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of children.
  • Organizational skills to plan lessons, manage time effectively, and maintain records.
