EDUCATION

High School Diploma Recommended:

Completion of one of the following: WVIT (West Virginia Infant/Toddler) Professional Development First two semesters of ACDS (Apprenticeship for Child Development Specialist) for those currently enrolled or ACDS completed A college course in Infant/Toddler from an accredited college or university

EXPERIENCE

: Must be 18 years of age Have a minimum of 1 year work experience working with children

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITES

Must have a warm and caring attitude toward working with children and their families Must be dependable and honest Must be flexible and adapt to change throughout the program Must be willing to accept supervision in order to improve work performance Must be physically able to work with young children
