Hours:

Full or Part time. 1-5 days a week. The ability to work until 5:30pm is required. Full days (8 or 9 hours) OR half days starting in the afternoon. The position start date is flexible between September-November. We are licensed and the paperwork can take up to a month to complete once hired. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for infants and one-year-old children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development, including sensory play, language acquisition, and motor skills enhancement Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences to foster strong partnerships Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to respond effectively in emergencies Observe and document each child's developmental progress to tailor activities that support individual needs Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure consistent classroom management and behavior guidance strategies Requirements Prior experience working with infants or toddlers in a daycare center or preschool setting is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and behavior management techniques Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork Ability to manage a classroom environment with patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm A genuine passion for nurturing young children's growth through caring caregiving and educational activities

Pay:

$25.00 - $26.00 per hour
