The Department of Psychology at Bridgewater State University offers a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Minor in Psychology, as well as a Master of Arts degree with a specialization in Clinical Psychology. A number of opportunities for increased engagement within the discipline of Psychology exist, including internships and practica, opportunities for gaining research experience via the department's laboratory for faculty and student scholarship, the Honors Program in Psychology, Psi Chi, and the Psychology Club. The department has ample lab space including an eye tracker and two Biopacs but does not have animal facilities for animal research. Essential Duties The Department of Psychology at Bridgewater State University seeks qualified and committed Part Time Faculty beginning September 2026, who are enthusiastic teachers and dedicated to working with undergraduates.

PSYC 230

In this course, students will learn to critically analyze ethnocentric perspectives, understand the sociocultural influences on individuals' worldviews, and recognize the factors that establish and maintain cultural norms. Emphasis will be placed on recognizing, understanding and respecting the complexity of sociocultural and international diversity including the role of power and privilege in shaping human conditions. This course may be in-person or hybrid.

• Ability to use technology effectively in teaching and learning.
• Provide quality teaching including related preparation and grading.

Required Qualifications Master's degree in Psychology. Preferred Qualifications Ph.D. in Psychology is preferred. Teaching experience preferred.
