A Psychology Professor teaches foundational psychological ideas, truths, and methods to students through a combination of classroom instruction, field experience, and assignments at colleges, trade schools or other institutes. May assist or lead in the creation of the curriculum to be taught. In addition to instruction, they may assist or lead in research initiatives relating to their field. In some cases, psychology professors will perform therapeutic services.

Job Description

The History and Social Sciences department at Middlesex College invites applications for part-time Adjunct Faculty Members to teach the following subjects: Educational Psychology Introduction to Psychology Psychology of Persons With Disabilities Lifespan Development Psychology of Women Personality Social Psychology Industrial and Organizational Psychology Addiction Studies Counseling Psychology African American Psychology

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

: Master's Degree in the subject or a related discipline Experience teaching adult learners Subject matter expertise

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience teaching in a remote environment Familiarity with Canvas Experience teaching in higher education
