A Psychology Professor teaches foundational psychological ideas, truths, and methods to students through a combination of classroom instruction, field experience, and assignments at colleges, trade schools or other institutes. May assist or lead in the creation of the curriculum to be taught. In addition to instruction, they may assist or lead in research initiatives relating to their field. In some cases, psychology professors will perform therapeutic services.

Job Description:
Prepares and delivers instruction in introductory Psychology courses to a diverse student body. Provides regular and timely feedback to students and utilizes innovative classroom instruction to promote student success. Actively participates in all Departmental assessments and classroom management requirements. Morning, afternoon and evening teaching assignments may be offered on both weekdays and weekends.
Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
: A minimum of a Master's degree in Psychology(or a Master's degree in a closely related field with a minimum of 30 graduate credits in Psychology) and (one)1 year of practical teaching experience is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
PH.D. or ABD in Psychology preferred.
