Job Description
Now Hiring:
Adjunct Professors and Mentors - Integrative Psychology Institute (Remote)
Position Types:
Part-Time, Contract Location:
Remote (Zoom-Based)
Programs:
MA in Integrative Psychology | Psychosomatic Practitioner Professional Certification About Us The Integrative Psychology Institute is a licensed higher education institution offering a Psychosomatic Practitioner professional certification and an MA in Integrative Psychology. The Psychosomatic Practitioner program is designed to support trauma-aware mind-body coaches, with transfer credits toward our MA, which integrates somatic, relational, cognitive, and existential approaches into a comprehensive graduate training. Our students graduate prepared to launch integrative coaching and therapy practices with real client experience from day one. We are reshaping what graduate psychology education can look like. If you are excited by the idea of helping build something new, moving fast, and being part of a team that believes the mental health field is ready for a fundamental shift, we want to hear from you. Who We're Looking For We are building our teaching team and seeking qualified professionals for two role types across both programs: Adjunct Professors develop and deliver graduate-level courses. This includes teaching live Zoom classes, creating pre-recorded lecture content, developing syllabi and assignments, grading, and holding office hours. Adjunct Professors shape the learning experience from the ground up and serve as the primary instructor for their course. Mentors lead live Zoom breakout sessions where students practice the skills they are learning in the classroom across both our MA and professional certification programs. Mentors facilitate structured exercises, provide real-time coaching and feedback, and grade homework and written assignments. We provide the frameworks and session structures; mentors bring clinical knowledge and facilitation skills. We are hiring across a range of subject areas, including somatics, narrative and relational therapy, cognitive therapies, existential and transpersonal approaches, parts-based therapy, ethics, human development, trauma and attachment, addiction, couples work, and business skills for practitioners.
Qualifications Minimum:
Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, somatic psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related field. Doctoral candidates (PhD, PsyD) are encouraged to apply, particularly for clinical skills courses where a doctorate may be required.
We value candidates who bring:
Clinical experience across integrative and holistic therapeutic modalities Experience teaching, mentoring, or facilitating in graduate or professional training programs Comfort with Zoom-based instruction, including breakout rooms, screen sharing, and recording The ability to work across multiple modalities or integrate fields rather than teach from a single lens Energy and adaptability for a fast-moving startup environment where programs are actively being built, refined, and expanded A desire to be part of something pioneering, helping shape a new model for what mental health education and practice can become Licensure or credentialing (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent) is preferred but not required for all roles
Compensation Adjunct Professors:
$5,000-$6,500 per course, depending on scope and experience.
Mentors:
$40-$125/hour, depending on live teaching vs. administrative tasks such as grading. How to Apply Interested candidates will be directed to an application link where you will upload the following: A current resume or CV highlighting relevant clinical and teaching experience A brief cover letter describing your approach to teaching within an integrative framework Contact information for personal references A 2-3 minute video of you teaching a principle in psychology or mental health, along with a short written statement identifying what you are teaching Detailed instructions will be provided at the application link. Thank you, and we sincerely look forward to meeting you.
