Visiting Assistant Professor of Business and Psychology Details Item Value Posting Date 08/20/2026 Closing Date Until filled Employment Type(s) Full Time Location Beloit, Wisconsin, 53511 Description Beloit College invites applications from those with industrial-organizational psychology training and experience for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Business and Psychology position for the 2027-28 academic year. This is a benefits-eligible position and has the possibility of renewal. The successful candidate will teach 6 courses (3 each semester) including Introduction to Psychology, a course in our Psychological Research Methods and Statistics sequence, and intermediate courses in their area of expertise, such as Behavioral Economics, Consumer Behavior and Marketing, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Management, Organizational Leadership, etc. We seek a colleague who has demonstrated excellence in or strong potential for teaching undergraduates, and whose pedagogies or research align with and engage our increasingly diverse student body and our interdisciplinary curriculum. A PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or Applied Social Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Leadership, Program Evaluation, or a related field is preferred, though applications from advanced ABD applicants will also be considered. Located in a diverse community close to Madison, Milwaukee, and Chicago, Beloit is a selective undergraduate liberal arts college that attracts students from across the United States and the world.
