January 1, 2027 DEFINITION Under the general supervision of the Site Administrator and Migrant Education Specialist, provides supplemental academic support to eligible migrant students through small-group and individualized instruction to improve student achievement in reading and/or mathematics for students in grades

K-5. TYPICAL TASKS

• Provides targeted academic interventions in reading and mathematics using district-approved instructional programs and resources in grades K-5.
• Assesses student progress and adjusts instruction to meet individual learning needs.
• Collaborates with classroom teachers and school staff to support student success.
• Maintains accurate records of student attendance, progress monitoring, and services provided.
• Participates in professional development and training related to instructional strategies and intervention programs.
• Communicates with families, when appropriate, regarding student progress and available educational resources.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students is preferred but not required.
• Ability to provide engaging, individualized, and small-group instruction.
• Ability to establish positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
• Strong organizational, communication, and record-keeping skills.

Pay:

Up to $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 37.5 - 40.0 per week
