Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Provide after school services to support student learning and development including academic enrichment, tutoring, mentoring, homework help, as well as music, arts, sports, and cultural activities. The following duties are not intended to serve as a comprehensive list of all duties performed by all employees in this classification, only a representative summary of primary duties and responsibilities. Incumbent(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed and may be required to perform additional position specific duties.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
21st CCLC classroom staff will display a joy of teaching as an intellectual profession Maintain an atmosphere conducive to learning Adhere to goals and objectives of the 21st CCLC program which includes increased participant academic achievement Provide classroom and/or tutoring assistance
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of core academic subject assigned General knowledge of curriculum and instruction Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent or An Associate's degree or higher degree or At least two years of study at an institution of higher education Any equivalent combination of training, education that meets minimum requirement
EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION
$30 per hour (Support and Certified) 1-2 hours per day 1-5 days a week
