Intervention and Outreach Teacher at Covina-Valley Unified School District Print Application Deadline Until Filled Date Posted 9/21/2026 Contact Kim Salas Number of Openings 1 Salary Pay Range $62,676 - $135,847 Annually Length of Work Year 184 Days plus 2 days orientation for new teachers (2026 - 2027 School Year) Employment Type Full Time View Job Description Requirements / Qualifications Under the direction of the Director of Curriculum and Instruction and site administrator, the Intervention and Outreach Teacher is responsible for designing and implementing a high-quality program to provide direct instruction, staff assistance, and curriculum leadership for the purpose of preventing and correcting reading and/or mathematics difficulties. Must have a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and be EL authorized. Must have five years of teaching experience in an elementary or secondary classroom; experience working with intervention programs, and experience facilitating professional learning communities.
