Requirements / Qualifications 3.2 Literacy Development & Math Impact Teacher Credential Copy (Multiple Subject) English Learner Authorization (CLAD or embedded EL) Letter of Introduction Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three (3) minimum within last 12 months with one from a direct supervisor) Resume Comments and Other Information Impact Teachers are employed for site-specific purposes as approved by the school site council. Impact Teachers are employed under the following guidelines: 1. Impact Teachers work at least three (3) days per week. 2. Impact Teachers shall render four (4) consecutive paid hours of service each day. Such service may include time before and after a non-paid lunch period. 3. Impact Teachers are not eligible for participation in district-paid health and welfare benefits. 4. Impact Teachers shall be members of the bargaining units represented by the Southwest Teachers Association and pay association dues accordingly. 5. Impact Teachers shall be entitled to use sick leave and personal necessity leave on a prorated basis. 6. Each Impact Teacher shall receive a calendar of work days for the duration of the assignment and a schedule of work hours upon the commencement of the assignment. 7. Impact Teacher must possess a Multiple Subject credential with English Learner Authorization (CLAD or embedded EL) 8. Impact Teachers cannot be employed on the basis of a provisional permit 8:00 AM-12:00PM
