Position:

Part-Time Literacy Teacher Life Shifting Next Level Educational Center is seeking a patient, dependable, and dedicated Part-Time Literacy Teacher to provide literacy instruction and support to K-12 learners. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping students improve their reading skills and the patience and encouragement necessary to work with struggling readers. Responsibilities Provide individualized and/or small-group literacy and reading instruction. Assist students who are struggling with reading, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and foundational literacy skills. Develop positive relationships with students and encourage confidence in reading. Adjust instruction to meet individual student learning needs. Monitor student progress and communicate concerns or progress to appropriate school personnel. Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment. Support the school's academic goals and instructional expectations. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when working with students and families. Qualifications & Requirements Experience working with K-12 learners . Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required. Must be able to read English fluently . Demonstrated patience when working with struggling or reluctant readers. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, professional, and able to work effectively with students and staff. Must be willing and able to successfully complete a Level 2 Background Check . Previous teaching, tutoring, literacy intervention, or educational experience is preferred.
