Qualifications:
Ohio Teaching License
  • Professional License Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Education Reading Endorsement Prior experience working with students with reading difficulties preferred Alternatives to the listed qualifications considered
Preferences:
Take and pass KPEERI (Knowledge and Practice Examination for Effective Reading Instruction) CERI (Center for Effective Reading Instruction) credentials
Responsibilities:
Determines reading and skill deficiencies Provides instruction in the areas of need Progress monitors academic progress and communicates progress to parents Formative and summative skills testing of students Supports classroom learning by communicating with classroom teacher Educated parents on how to support student with reading Participate in conferences about students Assesses students as needed and supports school with testing as permissible Internal applicants should send a cover letter of interest to Mary Meadows via email.
