Job Description University Laboratory School WAE

• Instrument Specialist Job Summary The Instrument Specialist will provide hands-on, individualized instruction to students on their primary instruments and assigned repertoire.

Through one-on-one and small group settings, the specialist will tailor teaching to meet each student's unique needs and skill level, reinforcing foundational techniques, support musical growth, and building student confidence as performers. Job Responsibilities 20

• Provide individualized instruction to students, one on one and in small group, to enhance their understanding and production of characteristic tone at a performing musician's level. 20
• Guide students through assigned repertoire, fostering musical growth by introducing and demonstrating new concepts and performance practices. 20
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate each student's unique learning style and support their ongoing skill development. 20
• Mentor and encourage students to build confidence in their abilities and prepare effectively for performances. 20
• Model the skills and professionalism expected of a highly successful performing musician.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree LSU values skills, experience, and expertise. Candidates who have relevant experience in key job responsibilities are encouraged to apply— a degree is not required as long as the candidate meets the required years of experience specified in the job description. $15/hr
