9650083-02360 Job Description Step into a pivotal role supporting students in grades 712 as a Reading Specialist within a vibrant academic environment. Starting as soon as possible and continuing through June 18, 2027, this contract opportunity offers a fulfilling chance to make an impact with a caseload of 27 students. Enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7:15am2:15pm, dedicating your expertise to literacy success and educational growth. Your expertise in reading Instruction and collaboration will shine as you work closely with students, design targeted interventions, and partner with IEP teams. Candidates who bring a strong background in assistive technology, organization, and clear communication will thrive. Experience with Orton-Gillingham methodology and Massachusetts teacher certification in Reading and/or Special Education are highly valued.

Qualifications:

Valid Massachusetts teacher certification in Reading and/or Special Education (preferred) Orton-Gillingham training preferred Prior experience teaching reading, especially in a small group or individual setting Strengths in IEP development, progress monitoring, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Demonstrated skills in organization, communication, and assistive technology

Responsibilities:
