Yesterday Job Description Position Overview The Title I Teacher provides supplemental instructional support to eligible students in reading (and/or mathematics) through targeted interventions designed to improve academic achievement. This position collaborates with classroom teachers, intervention staff, administrators, and families to ensure students receive high-quality, evidence-based instruction aligned with Ohio Learning Standards and district priorities. The Title I Teacher uses data to identify student needs, monitor progress, and adjust instruction to accelerate learning outcomes. This role requires deep expertise in structured literacy, intervention practices, and the Science of Reading to support students with reading difficulties, including characteristics of dyslexia.Preferred Qualifications:
Dyslexia Specialist endorsement/certification Master's Degree in Reading Extensive training in the Science of Reading, structured literacy, and evidence-based reading intervention practices. Prior experience as a Title I teacher, reading interventionist, or literacy specialist. Experience in administering phonics diagnostic screenings, intervention, and progress monitoring.
