Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Reading Specialist to join our educational team. In this vital role, you will support students' literacy development by designing and implementing targeted instructional strategies. Your expertise will help foster a love for reading, improve comprehension skills, and promote overall academic success. You will also work with students on Math skills as well. Duties Develop and adapt curriculum materials aligned with literacy standards and individual student needs Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' reading and math levels, and progress using various tools and techniques Design and implement evidence-based instructional plans. Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents to create integrated lesson plans that support early childhood education, childhood development, and literacy education goals Deliver targeted tutoring sessions focusing on phonemic awareness, vocabulary building, decoding skills, and math integration where applicable Manage classroom environments to promote positive behavior management and conflict resolution while maintaining high engagement levels Analyze student performance data regularly to adjust instructional strategies and ensure continuous improvement in literacy outcomes Join us in empowering young learners through innovative literacy instruction! Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 20.0 per week
