Immediately Job Description Royal ISD Elementary Summer School Internal Job Posting Summer 2026 Royal ISD is seeking qualified, student-centered staff to support our Elementary Summer School Program. We are committed to providing meaningful summer learning opportunities that help students strengthen academic skills, support language development, and prepare for success in the upcoming school year. This posting is open to internal applicants interested in serving in the Summer 2026 Elementary Summer School Program. Program Dates

May 27-28, 2026

Student Instruction:

Monday-Thursday, June 1-25, 2026

Available Positions:

LEP/Bilingual/ESL Program (Full Day)

PK/K ESL

• 1 teacher PK Bilingual
• 2 teachers K Bilingual
• 2 teachers Aides
• 5 positions Elementary Program 1st Grade
• 2 teachers 1 bilingual 1 monolingual 2nd Grade
• 2 teachers 1 bilingual 1 monolingual Staffing for Grades 3-5 2 bilingual teachers 2 monolingual teachers 3rd Grade
• Reading/Math 4 units 4th Grade
• Reading/Math4 units 5th Grade
• Reading/Math 4 units Aides 2 positions Primary Purpose To provide targeted academic instruction and student support during the summer program in order to address learning gaps, strengthen language development, and prepare elementary students for success in the upcoming school year.

Qualifications Valid Texas teaching certificate appropriate for assignment Bilingual and/or ESL certification required for bilingual and ESL positions Experience working with elementary students Ability to plan and deliver focused instruction aligned to student needs Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with campus and district staff Expectations Selected staff members will be expected to: Provide effective instruction and intervention in assigned content areas Support language acquisition and academic growth for participating students Maintain accurate attendance and student progress records Support a positive and structured learning environment Participate in required planning, training, and program procedures Follow all Royal ISD expectations, board policies, and summer school guidelines Application Information Interested internal applicants should submit their application according to district procedures by the designated deadline. Campus assignments, daily work hours, and pay information will be shared with selected applicants. Staffing is contingent upon student enrollment, program needs, and administrative approval.
