This contract position is ideal for professionals with a passion for literacy development and expertise in delivering targeted interventions to students with dyslexia. Your knowledge as a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) or with appropriate Dyslexia certifications will help young learners build reading skills and achieve academic success. The position is available now and runs through the end of the current school year.

What We're Looking For:

CALT certification or recognized Dyslexia certifications required Experience working as a Reading Specialist or Dyslexia Instructor in K-5 settings preferred Strong understanding of structured literacy instruction and evidence-based reading interventions Ability to create personalized intervention plans and track student progress Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families

Your Responsibilities:

Provide direct, multisensory literacy instruction for elementary students with dyslexia Assess students, interpret results, and determine individualized instructional strategies Maintain accurate records of progress monitoring and intervention outcomes Consult with classroom teachers and support teams to foster inclusive learning environments Participate in school meetings and engage in ongoing professional development As part of this opportunity, youll enjoy competitive hourly pay of $42.50, working 35 hours per week across a Monday to Friday schedule.
