REPORTS TO
Executive Director of Elementary Instruction, Title I Coordinator
DESCRIPTION
The contracted reading interventionist will provide reading intervention services to private school students in a small group setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide instruction to students who are experiencing difficulties with reading and writing in grades K-5 Administer and score assessments Compile, analyze and interpret school-wide assessment data for classroom teachers Create individual student reading plan Prepare written reports and information for student files Consult with school staff and families regarding student literacy development
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or higher Must hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teaching License Reading Specialist endorsement preferred Successful full-time teaching experience preferred
