Human Development The College of Education at California State University San Marcos invites applications for instructors to teachHHS:
Introduction to Personal Health and Wellness , a 3-unit course offered at High Tech High School (San Marcos, California). This is a dual enrolled course offered to high school students for college credit. This course Introduces the basic principles of health and wellness from a holistic perspective to enhance self-awareness and personal wellness behaviors. Subjects covered include mental, emotional, physical and socio-environmental dimensions of health, sexuality and relationships, nutrition and physical fitness, use and abuse of drugs, health care services and current health problems.Minimum qualifications:
A master's degree in kinesiology, public health, human development or other health and wellness related disciplines. Per California State University's Out-of-State Employment Policy, the CSU is prohibited from hiring employees to perform CSU-related work outside California. Working in the State of California is a condition of employment.Preferred qualifications:
