College of Nursing & Health Sciences Job Summary:
The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences is seeking a qualified Adjunct, Rehabilitation Sciences, to teach undergraduate courses within the Sports Medicine program. This is a part-time, as-needed appointment that supports the department in achieving program and student learning outcomes. The successful candidate will provide high-quality classroom and laboratory instruction, assist with student development, and contribute to departmental and university service activities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide instruction and student supervision in assigned laboratory and classroom settings. Evaluate student performance and submit accurate, timely records of grades and attendance. Comply with Institutional, College, and Department policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a closely related field. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in sports medicine, injury prevention, evaluation, emergency care, rehabilitation, and/or related areas. Ability to effectively teach and mentor undergraduate students. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current Board of Certification (BOC) certification as an Athletic Trainer (ATC) . Current or eligibility for Florida Athletic Training licensure . Previous college/university teaching experience. Clinical experience in athletic training or sports medicine. This is an undergraduate instructional position; therefore, a master's degree is the minimum required academic credential .
