JOB SUMMARY
Spalding University seeks adjunct faculty to teach several courses in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) curriculum. Specific needs for the Spring 2027 semester include DPT 864 Physical Therapy in Pediatrics, and DPT 877 Orthotics and Prosthetics. Lectures are delivered online, but the faculty member must spend approximately 1 week per month on campus during lab immersions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and teach the lecture portion of the course using online delivery to include weekly one-hour synchronous sessions. Laboratory content for courses occurs on campus in Louisville, KY. Faculty must be able to be on campus for 4 weeks/semester.
SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
DPT or terminal doctoral degree. Active license to practice physical therapy in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Completion of postgraduate-level subject matter in respective course. Experience teaching similar content in a DPT curriculum preferred. Clinical Specialist certification (ex. PCS) preferred
INTERRELATIONS
