Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Science Teacher to inspire curiosity and foster a love for science among students. In this role, you will deliver engaging lessons that integrate innovative learning technology and curriculum development strategies. Your expertise will help students understand complex scientific concepts, develop critical thinking skills, and apply their knowledge in real-world contexts. Responsibilities Design and deliver interactive science lessons aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating educational technology such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other digital tools. Develop and adapt lesson plans to accommodate various learning styles and ensure inclusive classroom experiences. Utilize classroom management techniques to create a positive, respectful, and engaging learning environment. Assess student performance through formative and summative evaluations, analyzing data to inform instructional modifications. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum implementation, share best practices, and participate in faculty meetings to enhance teaching strategies. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and upcoming assessments or projects. Implement educational compliance standards and stay current with regulations related to science education and special needs accommodations such as autism or special education requirements. Qualifications Proven experience teaching science at the elementary or secondary level, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Demonstrated ability to integrate learning technology effectively into lesson plans, including LMS platforms and digital resources. Excellent classroom management skills with experience working with children from diverse cultural backgrounds. Strong communication skills for engaging students, collaborating with faculty, and maintaining parent relationships. Knowledge of curriculum development, standardized testing procedures, and instructional modifications for different learning needs. Experience working with students who have special needs or require differentiated instruction is highly desirable. Background in early childhood education or preschool experience is a plus; Montessori or preschool teaching experience is advantageous.
