The positions may involve supervising interns as an attending doctor in the teaching clinic. This position is part-time with less than 40 hours of work per week, but at least 40 hours of work in a two week period. Required Qualifications Must have a Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school or college of optometry. Eligible for licensure to practice the full scope of Optometry in the state of Alabama. Completion of a residency/fellowship program, or additional degree (MS, MPH, PhD) or a minimum of three years equivalent clinical experience. Preferred Qualifications Preference will be given to applicants with advanced training or degrees such as PhD, MPH, or MS.
