Job Description

Job Overview As we value diverse expertise and tutoring abilities, priority will be given to those who can also tutor and teach additional subjects/instruments. Educators must be able and willing to tutor and teach the subjects at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Priority will be given to those who can also tutor and teach at the college level. We are looking for Educators who can tutor and teach the following subjects: AP Physics AP Physics 2
AP Physics C:
Mechanics AP Physics C:
Electricity and Magnetism High school math Middle school math Requirements Proven experience teaching physics at high school or middle school levels with a strong background in classroom management and instructional delivery. Demonstrated expertise in laboratory settings with hands-on experience in dissection, scientific research, or research laboratory work. Familiarity with curriculum development across science disciplines including biology (cell biology, genetics), chemistry (organic chemistry), microbiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, and physics concepts such as algebra-based physics and calculus applications. Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds; adept at adapting teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles. Knowledge of educational technology tools for lesson planning and instructional delivery; experience implementing IT-integrated lessons is highly desirable. Strong communication skills capable of engaging teenagers effectively while fostering a collaborative classroom environment. Understanding of educational compliance requirements related to standardized testing, curriculum implementation, special education accommodations, and educational regulations.
Pay:
$20.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 20.0 per week
